"I
am a beginner at netmarketing, not very
good at ad writing and I really needed
some help with it. After having an ad
writing workshop with Cathy, the full
page ad I was trying to write turned out
to be just great!
"I'd
recommend it to anyone who needs a little
help, because it's not given to everybody
to have the skill to write good ads.
"Thank you Cathy for helping me!"

"Cathy
Wagner is the genuine article - articulate,
informed, professional, generous and on
the money when it comes to providing top-notch
advice for your business concerns. Cathy
really cares about your business and it's
success, not just how it relates to maintaining
her own. She has given away more information
in the time I've known her than some companies
provide as part of their intial fee'd
package and consistantly provides clear,
accurate and valuable advice every time."

and positive businessperson to deal with,
accurate and quick to respond to questions.
She deals with you honestly and her information
is clear and of top quality. She helped
me by guiding me on a business endeavor,
and her instructions were right on! She
gives information and advice freely and
offers more than what is expected. I plan
to keep Cathy on for further advising!"

Hello,
Welcome
Members!
Tip of the Week
I don't think one tip about stressing the benefits of your offer with
your copy is really enough to get the point home to everyone. I don't
know about you, but I've seen lots of articles that talk about benefits
vs. features, but for someone who is having trouble understanding the
difference, I can't believe they are really helpful. Here
are my thoughts about why people have difficulty with this concept.
When
most of us decide to try online business, the first thing we think is,
"I need a product." We search for the perfect product: something everybody
wants at such a great price that no one will be able to resist our offer.
We look at the features.
- "This one offers
a great commission!"
- "Look how inexpensive
this is! I could sell thousands of these!"
- "Look at all you
get for this price!"
And then
we proceed to try and sell our new product in the same way:
- "This one offers
the best commission!"
- "Look how inexpensive
this is! So easy to afford!"
- "Look at all you
get for this price!"
When
we do this we are making a terrible mistake. We are assuming that our
customers are in the same eager mindset we were in when we chose our product.
While
online business is thriving and many new businesses continue to come on
the scene every day, most of our prospects are just customers, not opportunity
seekers. Also, it doesn't take long for opportunity seekers to become
skeptical and start leading with the question, "What kind of results have
you had?" (I think every new online business person hates to hear this
question if it comes before they have had a real chance to work the system
and see some results.)
Except
for the small percentage of online business people who are so new that
they're still actively looking for a product to sell, most netpreneurs
are not interested in opportunities for their own sake. Many won't even
consider an opportunity unless they actually use and love the product
being sold.
For this
reason, it is vital that we shift our focus from what sold us to what
will sell others. And again, here we would begin our discussion of benefits
over features.
- People don't care
how much a product costs until they decide they might like to have it.
- People don't care
who is offering a particular product until they are thinking about buying.
Things
people DO care about:
- Being able to make
more money.
- Being able to spend
less time working.
- Being able to spend
more time with their family.
- Being able to lose
weight.
- Being able to look
younger.
- Feeling good.
I'm sure
if you look at your product and ask yourself what end result does it deliver,
you may be able to add to this list. The point is, people don't care about
things as much as they care about what a particular thing will do for
them. So be sure to stress the benefits!
Tomorrow
is the Big Day
Don't miss your last chance to sign up for one or both of the wonderful
coaching opportunities planned for tomorrow.
First,
at 1pm Eastern (GMT-5), Janet Legere, owner of Contact List Builder, will
present the "Online
Coaching Show!" with professional coach, Jean Hudson, M.Ed. This exciting
online event is a totally new and revolutionary concept in the field of
coaching. Set in Janet's online chat room, Jean will provide a real coaching
session for one lucky volunteer while the other attendees listen in. After
the 30 minute coaching session, all attendees will be able to ask questions.
This
first-of-it's-kind event is the perfect opportunity to see what the coaching
buzz is all about. Not only will you get to see what a professional coach
can really do, you'll also learn from the advice and tips that Jean provides
to improve your own life! The cost is only $24.97 for this two hour live
show including all materials. Click
here for full details and registration. And be sure to check
out the story the Calgary Herald wrote about this historic event!
Then,
at 7pm Eastern (GMT-5), my own prosperity mentor, Marilyn Jenett, is co-hosting
a Valentine
Conference Call with three other coaches, each specializing in some
aspect of love. Whether you are interested in developing Universal love,
self love, loving relationships, love for your body or your business and
the work you do, this will be an exciting and eye opening call. The cost?
Only $20 for 90 minutes! Click
here for full details and registration.
Don't
make the same mistake I did. I didn't really understand the full value
of coaching before I tried it, and let many wonderful opportunities slip
by me. Now that I have tried it, I think coaching is an indispensible
way to dramatically shorten your learning curve and help you get to where
you want to be much, much faster. At prices like these, you really don't
have much to lose by checking it out and possibly so much to gain! Choose
the session that resonates with you or, get the full benefit by making
a day out of coaching and attend both!
Have
a Profitable Day,
Cathy
