For me, the New Year is off with a bang! Life has been incredibly busy! I'm ready to get into to a regular routine at this new, accelerated pace. :) It's been a while since the last update, so this is a long one. It includes a lot of useful information. I hope you enjoy it. ONE STOP News Site
Search I thought about reorganizing it. Ugh! I can't imagine a longer and more tedious task! I mean it's years worth of updates, over 70 pages. I really don't have the time to do it. So, I kept thinking. (But, I did decide to start 2006 with a new archive format.) Recently, I think I finally came up with the perfect solution for accessing hidden information. I've installed Google Site Search in the Members Area! Now, all you have to do is type what you're looking for in the search box and you will receive a list of every reference to your topic. The biggest benefit for members is that you now have easy access to lots of information you didn't even know was there! Instead of searching around to see what you can find, now you can just type in a keyword, like "autoresponder" for example, to find every mention of autoresponders in articles, Ask Cathy questions and old Member Updates. Try it! I think you're really going to like it. :) Headline

Autoresponder Recommendation Today I am pleased to say that, for me, autoresponder worries are over! Once again, my good friend and right hand tech guy, Roy Houston, has come up with the perfect solution. This time he's literally created his own autoresponder service at www.SmallBusinessAutoresponders.com. Yes, it's a paid service and very reasonably priced for everything you get, including complete instructions, support and an online HTML editor to help you create the perfect messages. He even offers a limited free membership for beginners! If you're not using a sequential autoresponder or if you're sick and tired of the one you are using, I strongly recommend you check out www.SmallBusinessAutoresponders.com Business Tips: Offline
Networking For example, I knew I was going to a big event that could be an excellent networking opportunity. I didn't want to get all flustered or have to reach for words to explain what I do (I knew I would be asked,) so I sat down and wrote an elevator speech ahead of time. It was just a few lines about what I do and how I help people, and I memorized it. Now when someone asks, I have a ready answer that can be altered if necessary to fit any situation. How you present yourself offline is very important. We have it kind of easy on the Internet in that regard. We can edit and tweak what we will say endlessly and make an excellent "first impression." Offline, you have to be prepared to get it right the first time. What
to Write?! My best articles generally start off as rants. I know it may sound silly, but if I've got enough energy to rant about a particular subject, then I can write an article about it. :) Of course, I usually go back and tone it down and think of the best ways to word what I want to say, but that's where I start. Another great inspiration for me is when I find myself giving out the same information to several people. If several people in my proximity have questions about a particular subject, then the information will most likely make a good article. Even if you don't have the information at hand, you can always do some research to write an informative and popular piece.
