In celebration of Guatemala's ongoing peace efforts, after decades of conflict, we have chosen Guatemala City as the location for the Global Unity Summit for Peace and the Environment. To us, Guatemala is a peace symbol and a shining example of successful, peaceful cooperation between groups who had previously been at extreme odds.

Guatemala, located in Central America, is beautiful with a pleasant climate and is easily accessible to everyone. Their government enjoys good relations with other countries and has always offered a warm welcome to International travelers.
