Welcome Members!

NEWS
It has come to my attention that a large percentage of Members are not receiving updates due to ISP SPAM filters.

To correct this situation, I have made Member Updates available online. There is a new link on the login page that will allow you to access the latest update every week.

I will continue to email them as I have always done, but now they will also be available on the site, along with an archive.

The archive begins with all of the recent updates that include the steps I have been taking to promote Raiza Creme and, for now at least, the archive will be available to all Members.


CHAT
Due to technical difficulties, I have had to cancel this week's scheduled chat.

Now that the Summer (US) is just about over, I will go back to scheduling them for Sunday afternoons and begin discussing new, specific topics at each.

The next live chat will be held on Sunday, September 7 at 4:00pm EST (GMT-5) and the topic will be "The Value of Free Advertising."


CONTEST
The contest for this week is still on. This will be the last contest of the Summer (US).

Every fifth person to send a blank email on Sunday August 24 (Eastern Time/GMT-5) with the words "Workshop Winner" as the subject, will win their own Ad Writing Workshop.

I will reply to all contest entries on Monday.


GET READY
With the end of the Summer (US) comes one of the busiest times of the year for online business. Now is the time to get ready. Check out my article on how you can spend a little effort to be more prepared.


THE BIRTH OF AN INTERNET BUSINESS
Offline -
It has been a very good week offline. I had one customer buy a second jar of Raiza Creme and my classified ad in the local paper was published on Thursday.

Response to the ad has been very positive; apparently there is a real need for a better skin care product. I expect some sales at the beginning of next week, after people have had a chance to try it.

Online -
Based on the response I have been getting, I took another look at the the main page of the web site and realized that there is no mention of the fact that Raiza Creme can replace so many of products women are using to care for their skin. I have corrected this.

The email ad I ran last week got no response, probably because I used a new subject line rather than the one that tested as the best. I will try it again with my primary link as the subject.
